Harvest Festival in Fjordlandet

As Copenhagen's front yard, Fjordlandet is not even an hour's drive from the city. Here you can get organic quality products, straight from the local fields and barns.

Find your way to local produce straight from the field during the harvest festival and markets in Fjordlandet in late summer 2023. Bring the children along for a trip to see where your food originates from and get up close and personal with the animals - which often are more than happy to be petted!

Herslev Brewery

Saturday, September 2nd, from 5:00 PM to 11:00 PM.

Taste what Fjordlandet has to offer at Herslev Brewery‘ harvest party. Experience the relaxed late summer atmosphere and join in on the celebration of this years harvest with Herslev Bryghus and their local food product network.

There will be live music, pop-up kitchen, harvest party dance and fresh draught beer – and an option to jump on a shuttlebus to and from Roskilde st.

Snoremark

Saturday, September 2nd – Sunday, September 3rd, from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM.

Attend the traditional, organic harvest marked that Snoremark hosts the first weekend in september.

Meet the sheep, take a walk in the plantation and taste English cider sorts. Hear about bee-keeping and taste fresh honey. You can also enjoy cake, tea, cider, mead, sausages and more at the cafe.

There will be a fire where you can bake bread twists, pancakes or roast popcorn. You are also welcome to press your own apples for juice (max 15 kg) on their electrical grinder.

Lejre Harvestfestival

Saturday, September 16th, from 10:00 AM to 4:30 PM.

Lejre Harvestfestival offer a festive and enjoyable day with a large organic marked, food, music, ponyriding and talented artists.

Stensbølgård

Saturday, September 2nd, from 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM.

Visit Stensbølgård and experience a cozy day in the countryside where you can meet the owners of the farm, enjoy nature and the atmosphere of the farm. In the farm shop you can buy the farms own products.

Sct. Hans Have

Saturday, September 9th – Sunday, September 10th.

As part of Roskilde Spiser Grønt (Roskilde Eats Green) Sct. Hans Garden celebrate the fresh vegetables of late summer. The menu at the café at Sct. Hans Garden take root organic ingredients reaped in the luxuriant local area. The food can be enjoyed in the greenhouses beneath grapevines, fig- and almond trees or in the berrygarden or pergola.

Andelslandsbyen Nyvang

Saturday, September 9th – Sunday, September 10th, from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM.

At the co-operative village of Nyvang the traditional and popular harvest marked will be filled with exiting stalls and activities for both children and adults. Experience a harvestmarked which is based on life in a co-operative village of the mid 1900-hundred – as it looked back when the harvest was properly celebrated!
