Fjordlandet is the salad bowl of Copenhagen and an hour’s drive from the capital. Quality products, ranging from strawberries and pork, to venison sausages and quince ale, are available direct from the field and barn. Discover the area’s wonderful farm shops.

There are many ways to experience Fjordlandet. Visit one of our many castles or spend an afternoon immersed in a Viking world of shields and swords. Or sit back and enjoy the ride in a tour boat on one of the area’s four fjords.

Therefore, HM The Queen and The Royal Family will participate in a wreath-laying ceremony at Frederik the 9th and Queen Ingrid’s grave at Roskilde Cathedral.

In wintertime in Fjordlandet, you can experience the fantastic natural phenomenon "Black Moon", when up to 20,000 tufted ducks, after sunset, take off and fly away. There are especially many tufted ducks at Kattinge Lake in @nationalparkskjoldungernesland. A unique experience that you definitely don't want to miss! 🦆
