The last months we have been able to enjoy the fantastic view of Roskilde Cathedral (@roskildedomkirke) from the outside 😍 But now we can finally look forward to explore Roskilde Cathedral from within 🥳🤩
At Roskilde Cathedral you can explore the burial sites of 40 kings and queens. 💪👑
This young queen overtook the government and united the Nordic countries into one
kingdom 💪 - but what is her name?🤔
From April 21st you can take a royal journey through time at @roskildedomkirke and find out 👑
Did you know that the @nationalparkskjoldungernesland covers 170km2 in Fjordlandet and offers excellent hiking opportunities? 🥾🌿
The varied landscape is filled with small and large
forests, manor estates, farmland and meadows
crisscrossed by lake and streams, not to mention the
beautiful fjord with its islands, islets and rich birdlife 🦅
Is your next hiking adventure taking place in
Thank you @swede_cph for sharing these stunning pictures from the beautiful peninsula Bolund 🙏
Last Friday, @naturstyrelsen and @nationalparkskjoldungernesland pull the island out and place it south of Veddelev. The island is a resting place for everyone who moves on the fjord 🏄♀️🚣♀️🏊♂️
The open-air island is located south of the small island of Elleore, which is an important place for the breeding birds 🦆🐦 The birds need peace and quiet to breed - and therefore Elleore, like the other small islands and islets in Roskilde Fjord, is protected in the period 1 April to 15 July. 🤗
However, with the open-air island, it is still possible to take a rest with a fantastic fjord view 😍
Fjordlandet, or Fjord Country, covers the scenic areas around Roskilde Fjord, Isefjord, Holbæk Fjord and Lammefjorden.
