Moon Mother – Mother of the Trolls

The 100th anniversary troll is called Måne mor (Moon Mother) and she lives in the woods in a very secret place in Hedeland Nature Park.

Moon Mother is a pregnant troll at a height of seven metres. According to Thomas Dambo, Moon Mother is the mother of all trolls. The reason she hides deep in the forest is that, as every troll knows, when you are pregnant as a troll, you go deep, deep into the forest so that the newborn troll child cannot find its way out of the forest until it is old enough.

Moon Mother cannot yet be found on the troll map, but as a clever clue to Moon Mother’s location, Thomas Dambo has written a poem in troll language.

See if you can decode the poem and set off in search of Moon Mother:

Happy Anders

It’s not just Moon Mother who’s hiding in the Hedeland nature reserve. Another of Thomas Dambo’s trolls is hiding in the forest, and he is hard to find…

Here’s a clue : A large number of wooden birdhouses point the way to Glade Anders (Happy Anders). The birdhouses can be found in the area north of Flintesø in Hedeland Nature Park.

Can you find him?

Round Rie

The giant troll Runde Rie (Round Rie) sits at the water’s edge at one of the three Lynghøj lakes with her fishing rod, hoping for a good catch.

If you fancy a refreshing swim, you can take a dip in the water with her fishing line.

But where is she?
