If you take the children or perhaps the grandchildren on a trip, it is obvious that you make your way past the blacksmith’s old house.
A time pocket from the 1900s
You will experience a different and cozy little museum, where children and adults are allowed to experience a city smithy from the beginning of the 20th century.
You will visit an old smithy that stands, as when the last local blacksmith left it in 1986, and comes around the house. In the farmhouse there are changing local history exhibitions, and here is also the blacksmith’s living room, which is decorated like a living room from the 1920s.
Eat your lunch in the beautiful smithy garden
In the smith’s yard there are old agricultural machines on display, and in the smithy garden there is quite nice and with lots of old perennials. Here you can enjoy the atmospheric garden from the set up tables and benches, where you are welcome to eat the packed lunches you have brought with you.
