More Than a Music Festival

Roskilde Festival demonstrates its commitment not only through its musical lineup but also by addressing social issues. With 25,000 volunteers and just 25 paid staff, the festival operates as a nonprofit, donating all profits to humanitarian causes. By 2010, over 13 million euros had been donated to organizations such as War Victims in Iraq, Doctors Without Borders, and Amnesty International.

Beyond music, the festival weaves societal and political themes into its artistic offerings. Under the guidance of the Klub 100 group, Roskilde Festival delivers not just musical highlights but also a unique atmosphere that blends community and passion.
