Lützhøfts Old Grocer’s Shop is decorated as it looked in the 1920s and is both a museum and a shop. Here there are sales of sweets and candies in hand-folded shop houses as well as hundreds of other traditional goods.
In the yard are the magazine buildings from the 18th and 19th centuries – experience the cozy atmosphere with cobblestones, horse-drawn carriages and free-range chickens and the many activities throughout the summer.
It is the tale of trade in both local goods and exotic products from across the globe.
Together with our neighbors in the Slagtermuseet and at Håndværksmuseet, it is also the story of the many small companies that made the wheels turn and about life in the grocery store.
