Welcome to the cutlure house KunstSmedjen.

The gallery presents Danish and international art, and there is new art on the walls every 3 weeks. In the Ateliers you can experience the artists working or enjoy the exhibitions of their art that you have the opportunity to buy.

On stage there will be concerts or performances 1-2 times a month.

You can also visit the open artist workshops, where you as a member are free to come and work. KunstSkolen requires registration.

In the cafe you can buy refreshments.

KunstSmedjen is financially independent of public funds, and is run by volunteers from the association Kunst at Musicon. They are located in Roskilde’s musical district MUSICON, which is built on a disused concrete factory.

KunstSmedjen is open every day, and is run by volunteers from Foreningen Kunst at Musicon. KunstSmedjen was started by Erik Schwarzbart, MusiconArt who is also the head of the Art School.
