Experience music and culture at Spillestedet Gimle, which is Roskilde's regional venue and youth culture house.
Gimle is housed in Roskilde’s old waterworks. Since the year 2000, Gimle has been deeply involved in Roskilde’s cultural life.
Every year you can experience around 300 artists, and the program ranges widely from the new talents, to the biggest Danish names and foreign stars. Gimle has been designated as a regional venue and aims to convey, profile, present and not least develop the rhythmic music life locally, regionally, nationally and internationally. At the same time, it is a task to work with talent development and present narrow music genres.
At Gimle you can primarily experience music, but also other cultural events such as stand up, open stage, debate evenings, international evenings, Gimle For Children and quiz nights.
