A cultural history museum located on Roskilde Fjord.
The museum’s permanent exhibition presents the evolution of how human beings have used Roskilde Fjord throughout history. Discover how people gathered food from the fjord and used it as a gateway to the world. Today the fjord is an attractive site for outdoor leisure time activities.
The museum is located just above Crown Prince Frederiks Bridge in Hornsherred in a historic red building from 1893. Its scenic surroundings provide ample opportunity for play, forest walks and exploring replicas of local archaeological finds.
