From a hobby to a museum
Egholm Museum is a private museum, which was started by Ole Falck. The air rifle in the museum’s first display case is Ole Falck’s first. He got it from his father when he was 16 years old from his father and became the start of a lifelong hobby of collecting firearms and accessories for weapons. Today, the museum is about 1500m2 large, and it houses large weapons exhibitions as well as unique, historical effects from World War II – from rationing marks to tanks.
In addition to World War II, the museum also houses exhibitions on e.g. “The Wild West”, Hunting, the War of 1864.
A museum for children
It is possible to explore the museum’s exhibition at child height. There are tasks that must be solved by finding answers to various questions around the museum. In addition, it is possible to listen to the many exciting exhibitions on audio guides.
