Carsten Bruun paints greetings from the things themselves before we as humans do anything about them – and no matter what the thing is, it has a kind of nature! – Motifs such as nature that surrounds us and as we know it, but also e.g. a car, if you just ignore what it is used for, this thing has a nature.
If we look at the thing in its own being, its own beauty, as it stands there, and perhaps even shines in the morning light, then all things have beauty, light, colors, lines, and shapes.
From Hammervej you drive until the road goes out over the fields, here you have to turn right and follow Aaskildevej 20 meters until you have to turn up to the right to find Carsten Bruun's home.
