Relax and enjoy the scenic surroundings with views of fields and woods. Sit on the terrace and enjoy the view of Roskilde Cathedral, or take a look out over the fields where the farm’s Galloway cattle graze peacefully. And if you walk down the small field road, you are in the middle of National Park Skjoldungernes Land.

Here are great opportunities for relaxing walks, jogging and cycling – either around Roskilde or on a mountain bike in Boserup forrest. It is also possible to play golf at the nearby Roskilde Golf Club.

At Kærgaard there are 4 beautiful, newly renovated double rooms with private bath, toilet and terrace. In addition, there is a large common kitchen and dining room.

The hosts Nina and Erik welcome you and can offer four beautiful double rooms with private bath, toilet and terrace overlooking the fields. In addition, large shared kitchen / dining room and with the option of choosing a tasty and homemade breakfast.

Galloway cattle at Kærgaard

In addition to running the B&B, the host couple Nina and Erik are also crazy about the cattle breed Galloway. In 2017 they started with two and today they have 31. The black-brown and calm animals are out all year round and graze the natural areas, which are completely free of spray mites or artificial fertilizers.

Galloway meat is very well known for its good quality and is considered in both England, Scotland and Germany to be some of the best in beef. If you want to taste, then it is possible to buy for cooking at home.

If you are near Roskilde or out hiking on Skjoldungestien and need a place to spend the night, then beautiful Kærgaard is an obvious option. It is located a stone’s throw from National Park Skjoldungernes Land, Skjoldungestien and with a view of Roskilde Cathedral.
