Frederikssund Jægerspris Kulhuse Campsite

DCU Camping, Kulhuse is beautifully situated next to the Isefjord and has a sandy beach, as well as pitches for tents and caravans. The ideal family campsite in Fjordlandet.

At DCU Camping in coal houses, you will find a quiet and hilly campsite that has modern service buildings with i.a. well-appointed family rooms.

Both big and small will love swimming in the water from the inviting beach, which is also a favorite destination among anglers. If you have a tent with you, there are good conditions for tent campers. The site has many nice nooks with shelter and coziness, which emphasizes the experience of being close to nature. The quiet family campsite has a play area. On the playground there is everything children can want with them, including bouncy castles, climbing and swing sets, cable car and ball court, mini golf and petanque. All by itself is the campfire site, where you can enjoy snobrød and a nice evening atmosphere.

There are many opportunities to enjoy the beautiful, hilly area with tall pine trees and a protected nature area where you can go for a walk with all the family members – both bipeds and quadrupeds.

Nature and culture near Kulhuse Camping

Within walking distance of the square you will find the ferry from Kulhuse to Sølager. In just five minutes by ferry you can be in Hundested, where you can experience the harbor and spend many enjoyable hours.

Near the square is also Nordskoven, which is filled with marked paths, or take a trip to the nearby Jægerspris Castle, where you can explore the castle, the castle park and the forest. You can also visit the fascinating and colorful Willumsens Museum in Frederikssund.

You are always welcome to call 61 62 01 70. If you arrive outside the reception’s opening hours, you will find a toll card in the cash register at the reception, lock yourself in, choose a seat and subsequently check in during the reception’s opening hours.
